Our Portfolio

Since starting B3 Studios we've worked with a range of local and international clients on some fantastic projects, some of which we have showcased below. The role that we play in a project can vary from client to client depending on their needs. Below, we've chosen to feature a selection of projects that both demonstrate this variety as well as giving an example of some of the skills that we can bring to a project.

Chopsticks: A Novel

On behalf of US based creative agency Being Wicked we designed and developed a tumblr site to correspond with the launch of the graphic novel 'Chopsticks' written by Jessica Antony and illustrated by Rodrigo Corral. It was important for this project that the design was in-keeping with the strong visual identity and style of the book and the textures and colours we used reflect this. We also used a masonry layout to add a storytelling approach to the site's content.

Shropshire Coffee

This site involved the design and development of a website for local coffee suppliers Shropshire Coffee. For the design of this site we wanted to incorporate the earthy and natural tones associated with coffee in a modern and user friendly way. The site contains a large amount of written content and therefore it was important to ensure that this was structured in such a way as to not overwhelm the user.

Just Left The Closet

We were approached by New York based photographer Tomo Delaney to create justleftthecloset.com, a social network aimed at LGBT teenagers, giving them a safe place to go online to share their stories and experiences. Tomo provided all of the designs as well as an in-depth brief outlining the site's functionality.

The site was developed around our own PHP Framework and features a members area, messaging system and most recently a 'scrapbook' facility which allows users to post interesting and inspiring imagery, videos and links.
